Huay Mae Khamin Waterfall

(Khuean Srinagarindra National Park)
Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi

One of Thailand’s Most Breathtaking 7-Tiered Emerald Cascades Hidden deep within the lush forests of Khuean Srinagarindra National Park, Huay Mae Khamin Waterfall is widely celebrated as one of the most beautiful and photogenic waterfalls in Thailand. Flowing down over a series of soft limestone formations, the water takes on a stunning emerald hue. The limestone also prevents the rocks from becoming slippery, making it an incredibly safe and pleasant spot for visitors to explore.

.

The waterfall is beautifully divided into 7 distinct tiers, each with its own poetic Thai name:

  1. Dong Wan (Herb Forest)
  2. Man Khamin (Turmeric Curtain)
  3. Wang Na Pha (Cliff Pool)
  4. Chat Kaeo (The Glass Umbrella) — The most famous and heavily photographed tier!
  5. Lai Chon Long (Flowing to Forget)
  6. Dong Phisuea (Butterfly Forest)
  7. Rom Kaeo (The Glass Canopy)
  • The Trails: Tiers 1 to 4 are easily accessible via a well-maintained wooden boardwalk stretching between 300 to 750 meters from the main park area. For adventure seekers, Tiers 5 to 7 continue further up the mountain for a scenic trek of just over 1 kilometer.
