Safari Park & Camp Kanchanaburi

Bo Phloi District, Kanchanaburi

The Ultimate Up-Close Wildlife Experience & Thailand’s Famous Giraffe Encounter As Kanchanaburi’s very first open safari, Safari Park & Camp offers an incredibly thrilling and interactive wildlife adventure unlike any other. Here, you don’t just watch the animals from afar—you get to interact with them up close! The absolute highlight that has gone viral worldwide is the chance to hug a giraffe’s neck for a photo or even feed them directly from your mouth.

To explore the open safari zones, visitors can drive their own private vehicles or hop on the safari’s complimentary minibus service. While passing through the predator zones housing lions, tigers, and Asiatic black bears, windows must remain completely closed for safety.

Beyond the drive-thru safari, the park features captivating animal shows, a macawkong area, and a special nursery zone where you can cuddle and bottle-feed adorable cubs, including baby tigers, leopards, and lions.

Start

Start your journey at the ticket booth! Thai Nationals: Adults 200 THB, Children 100 THB (Free for kids under 3 years old). Foreign Nationals: Adults 550 THB, Children 350 THB. Don’t forget to grab some animal food baskets for 100 THB each—the animals will come right up to greet you when you have treats!
Visitors can drive their private cars or take the safari’s complimentary air-conditioned minibus. Welcome to Zone 1: Fancy Fallow Deer. Feel free to roll down your windows and feed these gentle creatures!
Zone 2: Asiatic Black Bears. This section features a replica waterfall cliff with caves where the bears love to rest. In nature, these bears prefer cool environments like limestone mountain forests.
Zone 4: Blackbucks and Hog Deer. These animals usually travel in herds and tend to keep their distance. In Thai culture, hog deer are celebrated for having the most beautiful, gentle eyes.
Zone 4: Bengal Tigers. For your safety, please keep your car windows completely rolled up in this area. Fun fact: Just like human fingerprints, no two tigers share the same pattern of stripes!
Zone 5: African Lions. Did you know? Lionesses do most of the hunting. Being smaller, faster, and more agile than males, they are perfectly built for the chase without the burden of a heavy, heat-trapping mane.
Zone 6: Leopards. Notice their unique dark spots, which Thais call “dog-paw prints.” Sadly, leopards are critically endangered due to illegal hunting for their beautiful fur coats.
Zone 7: Indian Spotted Deer, White Fallow Deer, and Emus. The striking white albino deer seen here are descended from herds originally native to the Mediterranean before being bred in Europe and America.
Zone 8: Giraffes, Zebras, Llamas, Ostriches, and Flamingos. The most fun and interactive zone! Friendly giraffes and zebras will poke their heads right into your vehicle for treats. You can even wrap your arms around a giraffe’s neck for an epic selfie!
Moving on to the second part of the park for the animal shows! Time to snap a few scenic selfies along the way.
Feeding time for the colorful macaws, playful monkeys, and gibbons!
Catch the Intelligent Elephant Show, featuring incredible performances 3 to 4 times daily.
Don’t miss the thrilling, heart-pounding Bare-Handed Crocodile Wrestling Show, running 3 to 4 times a day!
A heartwarming moment bottle-feeding adorable baby tigers, leopards, and lion cubs!
