The “Inland Sea” of Kanchanaburi & A Scenic Riverside Oasis Locally known as Had Sai Tha Lo, Tha Lo Freshwater Beach is a popular recreational hotspot situated right in front of Wat Tha Lo. Stretching over 500 meters along a wide bend of the Mae Klong River, this unique attraction creates the delightful illusion of being at a coastal beach town. The vast, expansive waterway opens up like a peaceful lake, complete with a refreshing, continuous breeze blowing toward the shore.

With a beautiful backdrop of rolling mountains, the beach has been beautifully developed and maintained under the landscape improvement project by the Tha Lo Subdistrict Administrative Organization. It is the perfect family-friendly getaway for swimming, enjoying fun water sports, or simply lounging by the water with a cold drink.
